KIMP

Overview

The Verified Lane is a parallel KIMP market gated by the GIWA Dojang Verified Address attestation, with higher limits and sybil-proof rewards.

The Verified Lane is a parallel market for Kimp Contracts. It trades the same assets, against the same Kimp Pool, at the same index and fees as the open lane. The difference is access. Opening or increasing a position in the Verified Lane requires the trading address to hold a Verified Address attestation issued by Upbit Korea through GIWA Dojang.

The rest of KIMP stays permissionless. Anyone can trade the open lane, provide liquidity to the Kimp Pool, stake $KIMP or run a liquidation keeper without any attestation.

Why a Verified Lane#

A permissionless market has to assume every address could be one of many controlled by the same person. That forces low per-account limits and makes reward programs easy to farm. A Verified Address attestation proves that an address belongs to a person who has completed KYC with Upbit Korea. KIMP can rely on that fact without ever seeing who the person is.

How the check works#

KimpMarket calls KimpVerifiedGate, which calls DojangScroll.isVerified(account, upbitKoreaAttesterId) on GIWA. The call returns a boolean. If it returns false, the transaction reverts with NotVerified(account).

  • The check runs on every position open and every position increase in the Verified Lane.
  • The check does not run on close. A trader can always exit.
  • If an attestation is revoked, existing Verified Lane positions can be closed or held to expiry and settled normally. They cannot be increased.

See Dojang integration and Contract interface.

Privacy#

No personal data is written on-chain by KIMP, and KIMP never receives KYC data. The protocol reads one boolean from DojangScroll. It does not read attestation contents, names, identifiers or balances. Leaderboard names are shown only if the trader opts in and holds an up.id. See up.id.

How to get verified#

Verification is issued by Upbit Korea through GIWA's Dojang service, not by KIMP. KIMP does not run a verification flow and cannot issue, speed up or revoke attestations. Follow the instructions published by GIWA at docs.giwa.io. The KIMP app shows your current status on the /verified page by reading DojangScroll directly.
